Neuromodulator Treatments

If you are unhappy with your facial appearance due to dynamic wrinkles, you may be a good candidate for neuromodulator injections. Dr. Charles can determine your candidacy for this treatment during your initial consultation. At this appointment, he will evaluate the area(s) of concern and learn about your facial rejuvenation goals. He will also review your medical history and known allergies. Using this information, he will create a customized treatment plan that aligns with your needs.

Dr. Charles will draw from his advanced knowledge of facial anatomy and vast experience with cosmetic injectables to identify the optimal injection sites for accomplishing your desired results. He will then use a fine gauge needle to inject small amounts of Botox®, as needed.

There is no need for downtime after your neuromodulator injections, though you’ll be advised to remain in an upright position for four hours after your appointment. You will also want to postpone strenuous exercise and direct sun exposure for 24 hours.

It takes about two weeks to see the full effect of Botox®. Initial improvements may be noticeable within a week.

Neuromodulators provide temporary enhancement, so plan to schedule periodic follow-up appointments to maintain your rejuvenated look. Depending on the type of neuromodulator used, results can last from three to six months before retreatment is needed.
